2nd Daniel Aquilina Challenge Cup – Football tournament
RS2 Software held the “2nd Daniel Aquilina Challenge Cup” football tournament on Tuesday 19th July, 2011 in memory of Daniel Aquilina, who was lost on July 14th, 2009. On that day, the employees at RS2 Software did not only lose a cooperative and dedicated colleague but also a beloved friend with a warm and friendly personality.
The tournament was held at the Hibs grounds in Paola at 8:00pm, where two teams from ‘Crimsonwing’ and ‘deVere Group’ participated alongside two RS2 teams: ‘RS2 Munich’ and ‘RS2 Lelistyle’. Crimsonwing won the tournament with RS2 Munich placing in second followed by RS2 Lelistyle and deVere Group.
At the end of the tournament Mr Joe Aquilina thanked the participants and organisers for this remembrance of his son. Mr Joe Aquilina showed his appreciation towards the RS2 Software CEO Mr Mario Schembri, who was present at this event, for making this tournament possible. Trophies were then presented to all the players who played in the “2nd Daniel Aquilina Challenge Cup” tournament.
